Business graphics include; business cards, letterhead, or the design of custom fliers, brochures, questionnaires, forms, service menus, price lists, or any printed material you can imagine.

Before you have any cards or advertising printed, the first items you need  to address are your business Name, Slogan and Logo.  I can help guide you through all of this.           

name:

The name of your business does matter! For the small business it should identify the person and the service or product that IS the business. In this instance-- the Business Name is the Web Site, which aptly describes the service.

Realize that before you can start doing business as a NAME (unless it is your own) you have to do a search and make sure no one else is doing business by that name.  You do this through the "   " in your city. Then you need to register and license yourself as "Doing Business As-- NAME", as well as, other city, state, or federal regulations.

If you plan to use a web site to promote your business as well, you need to go through a similar process.  You must do a web search to see if the web address is available. If it is not, you must continue the search until you find an appropriate name. Once you are sure of the name, you must license, register, and publish it along with other regulations that strictly depend on your business.

slogan:

A slogan is a catchphrase, catchword, saying, or motto that describes the person, service or product. This message, together with the biz name, is your chance to etch your biz in the potential clients mind. A statement of what your business provides.

Be creative, descriptive, humorous, serious and professional. Put yourself in it and make sure that together with the name it makes an impression.  

Logo:

A logo identifies you, makes you unique, it helps people remember you. Whether its because of the print font, size, style or a graphic; it needs to incorporate several factors.  It should reflect you and the type of business you are trying to promote.

The print can reflect the tone of your business. If you are using a graphic, I think it should reflect what your business is!  Sometimes a splash of color or a photo can get the point across more effectively. A logo is the signature you use, it's that something that jogs the potential clients memory to recognize you. Just remember, you need to use this effect throughout all your adds and printed materials!

BUSINESS CARDS: 

How can anyone say they have a business without having a business card? It’s your first impression and in order for your potential customers to remember you, you need to capture their imagination or curiosity so they will remember you when they need to. A business card is your best advertisement so don’t settle for "off the rack" cards.

Make sure your cards have your slogan: that memorable line that catches their attention or that simply describes your business. It should clearly describe your product or service, as well as, your name and contact information. Make sure your cards reflect the tone and personality of you and your business.

There's nothing like presenting a document that makes you look prepared and professional.  A custom letterhead to write a business letter, contract, or invoice shows foresight and proficiency. These small touches are not always necessary; but, they do make your business look established at a minimal cost.

This category also includes Custom Office Forms, these are all the printed material or forms used exclusively for your office. These would include; questionnaires, client data forms, and sales or service information specific to your business needs.

FLIERS & BROCHURES:

Once you’re ready for paying customers, you need to find them!  One way to get your name out there is through the distribution of fliers that target your intended market. Fliers are a great way to highlight your business and promote specials.  It’s a start, and possibly -- all the start you need.

A Brochure is often the most important advertisement or document that highlights your business. There is a lot of potential — all printed on that brochure. So... put some thought into it, make sure it says everything you want.  A good brochure may be your best opportunity to sell a total stranger on your biz.

ADVERTISING MATERIALS:

These include all the layouts you might be using for magazines and newspapers. We can customize any art work or graphic layout that you use to advertise your business. Don’t be afraid to try something a little off the main stream that reflects your personality.

Tents on tables, and brochures on counters, are excellent for the right market and business type. Other types of businesses are more apt to have a need for posters. While still others, need product tags with their name and logo on them.  Advertising materials can be anything that you use, anything you can put your name, logo or slogan on. Just find the media that seems right for you. What I do, is the layout for that particular media using your specific custom made logos and slogan.
